This gemstone tree is made with obsidian. Obsidian is a natural, volcanic glass. It is believed that obsidian may be used for gaining a clearer insight into problems.  Obsidian is a very protective stone and is excellent for removing negativity. It is believed to be a stone of truth, protection, integrity, honesty, and grounding. This stone awakens the inner warrior and provides courage to enter our subconscious mind and rediscover our hidden abilities. It is mostly found in Iceland, Italy, Japan, Java, Mexico, Scotland, and the USA.
